The Goben is a high performance, luxury, two-door convertible sports car.
With the classic lines of the Shelby AC Cobra. They
were the brainchild of an automobile dealership owner, and car enthusiast from Madison,
Wisconsin, who named the car after himself.
These were not kits, but handbuilt from a combination of
factory parts and custom components. The frame is custom with Mustang front and rear ends.
Over 95% of the parts are off-the-shelf. A variety of drive train options were available -
see specification sheet. With a total weight of 2800 pounds, and a minimum of 300
horsepower, the performance of these cars is as spectacular as their looks. How fast are
they? Zero to Jail in under 5 seconds!
Only 15 were built during 1991, each one slightly different.
Each one is a unique combination of handbuilt, limited edition, luxury, and high
performance. |
